A dazzling, colourful photography print of a block of ice that is part of the structures at the annual Ice Sculpture Festival in Harbin, China. The annual festival is on every winter mid December through to mid February depending on the weather and uses blocks of ice cut from the frozen Song Hua River which naturally has a blue hue. Cutting is done manually and is a dangerous task. Each block of ice is a valuable piece in sculptures and buildings constructed entirely out of ice, with water as a natural adhesive. Fantastic on metallic paper.
Please note:
- Due to differences between backlit digital display vs print medium, colour of actual print may be slightly different to what is seen on a screen.
- All images come rolled or flat without a frame and without a white border. You may choose a border size that will be equal on all 4 sides in the free-text box when making a purchase. If you have special requests, please contact me first.
- Print size is the paper size, available paper sizes are in the same aspect ratio as the image. Adding a white border will reduce the printed area and requesting a paper size that has a different aspect ratio as the image may result in image cropping or unequal border widths.
